A Holiday Pop-Up Series to Support Local Businesses Affected by Hurricane Helene

Asheville, NC – For over 23 years, L’optique has been a cornerstone of Asheville’s Wall Street, offering quality eyewear to the community. However, Hurricane Helene recently devastated Biltmore Village, including L’optique’s secondary location and many neighboring businesses. Recognizing the challenges faced by these impacted businesses, L’optique is launching “Miracle on Wall St”, a holiday pop-up series in their Wall Street location, to provide these displaced shops with a space to operate this season.

Starting in November, the Wall Street storefront of L’optique, located at 30 Wall St, will host rotating pop-up shops during regular business hours, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participating businesses will have the chance to reconnect with their community, make sales, and share in the holiday spirit despite the setbacks of recent months.

“We’ve spoken with all Wall Street business owners, and many are joining us in this initiative, offering space in their own stores to host those affected by the storm. Our goal is to make Wall Street a one-stop holiday shopping destination while supporting local business recovery,” says Hannah Gibbs of L’optique. “Sometimes, the most challenging events have a way of bringing people together.”
