In the fall of 2001, Janice Gibbs brought decades of licensed optical experience to downtown Asheville. Coming from humble beginnings, L'optique has grown to become a staple, not only in Asheville, but in the luxury eyewear community worldwide. With her flagship store in downtown Asheville, a second branch in Historic Biltmore Village, and a third in downtown Greenville South Carolina, Janice, her daughters, and her powerhouse staff intend on shaping the future of optics. In her free time, she is a woman of many hobbies and creative skills. From canvas painting to refurbishing her camper, she likes to stay busy. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and maltipoo, Tallulah.
